UltraCella cold room controller
UltraCella cold room controller for normal and subzero temperatures for use in cold rooms is offered in the form of a kit at a special price. UltraCella is a front panel cold room controller with 6 relays, USD data logging functionality and humidity management logic.
UltraCella cold room controller I/O config
- It has six output relays (compressor 2HP, defrost 2HP, evaporator fans 16A, lighting 16A and two auxiliary relays 8A adjustable if necessary).
- Equipped with five analog inputs, three digital inputs and one analog output.
It also has 2 built-in RS485 serial lines, which includes a BMS port with Carel protocol and a fieldbus port with ModBus protocol as a master for connecting to the EVD expansion module and/or remote 3ph panels.
- Ability to read the humidity and control it through the external humidifier of the CAREL.
The UltraCella cold room controller meets the needs of all cold room users at all stages: from installation to commissioning for installers, everyday use for end users.
Installation
Installers can use these new features:
- DIN rail for quick wall mounting
- More GND terminals for probes and sensors, 230Vac relays for compressors, defrost and evaporator fans, and large 7.5mm terminals.
- Equipped with 180 degrees “fold out” door
Commissioning of the UltraCella cold room controller
Installers can reduce commissioning time thanks to:
- Configuration through the wizard available in the PGDe service (optional).
- With UltraCella alone, ten different preset configurations are available as standard, for the main types of applications (CO2, dual evaporator management, etc.).
- Download/upload settings via USB port
Interacting with an electronic controller has never been easy for end users, but in this particular version it is very simple for the following reasons:
- HACCP reports are available via the USB port in an easy-to-analyze CSV file.
- There is an intuitive built-in HMI with a large display.
Being modular
UltraCella and SmartCella share a modular platform. Thanks to the new modular mechanical concept, it is easily upgradeable and expandable with additional contents. The module can be mounted directly on a DIN rail or pre-assembled for wall mounting. Special plastic inserts and three wide bypass holes for convenient and safe wiring, while guaranteeing IP65 in the complete enclosure. A wide range of modules is available: up to 2 EVD modules that can drive 2 EEVs for independent management of 2 evaporators and full three-phase load management.
