Screw chiller controller kit

v.ChillScrew Series screw chiller controller kit is used to manage water-cooled and air-cooled chillers with screw compressors. This product controls the capacity of chillers continuously or stepwise.

The maximum configuration includes one screw compressor in each circuit, which can be configured with up to 4 circuits.

Chiller screw controller feature

The unique feature of the software program is the dynamic control of the working limits of the compressor. suction and discharge Pressure is determined at any moment by reading the controller and then the working point of the compressor. Then its control is done within the compressor envelope.

If the operating point of the compressor is close to one of the manufacturer’s specified limits, the software will take corrective actions. The desired actions are implemented on various unit devices to maintain or return compressor performance within limits. Limitations of different unit devices include compressor capacity reduction, electronic expansion valve opening, and condenser fan speed.

Using the display

 

In the screw chiller controller, using the display will help the user a lot. All required parameters can be seen on this screen. In addition, there are three password-protected access levels that provide three different access modes to parameters.  Target levels include “Read-only for support”, “Settings for service”, and “Full access for developer”.

The home page provides quick access to users functions that do not require a password. (Information on the status of unit components; on-off modes and unit operation; set point).
